This establishment, which originally began its journey in 1945 by the Han family in Bangkok, has become a global icon thanks to its rich history of delivering authentic Thai tea and other delicious beverages.
What sets ChaTraMue apart is its commitment to traditional brewing techniques, particularly a unique process known as “chak cha”. This method involves a delightful dance of transferring tea between two pitchers to aerate and cool the brew perfectly before serving. The tea itself is crafted from special red tea leaves sourced from a farm in Chiang Rai, resulting in a flavor that’s both vibrant and soothing.
At the new location, just east of Magnolia Street on Bolsa Avenue, customers can expect the signature Thai tea featuring that iconic orange sherbet color. The menu will feature delicious options beyond the classic Thai tea, including coffee, matcha milk tea, lattes, and even vegan alternatives.
